Want to Run a Poker League?
A Guide to Organizing a Poker League Everyone Will Love
Poker leagues have been around for decades, bringing friends and family together for a good time and competition. However, organizing a successful poker league involves more than just gathering some chips and cards. Missing out on key details can lead to a frustrating experience for all involved. This guide will cover everything you need to know to organize a poker league that people will want to play in for years to come.
SET UP
We'll cover all the items you need to consider when setting up and running your league. It may look difficult, but it's not. Just make decisions, be fair, honest and consistent.
Choosing the Right Space
The first step is selecting an appropriate space. Your venue should be spacious enough to accommodate all players comfortably and allow for easy movement around the table. This could be done in a home, or a poker room.
Table: Ensure you have a large enough table to fit all players and their chips comfortably. A round or oval table is preferred to allow everyone to see each other and the cards easily.
Chairs: Provide comfortable seating for all players.
